Frank Botta leads Transportation Lawyers 50th Annual TLI Conference

Frank Botta, Chair of The Lynch Law Group’s Transportation Practice and President of the Transportation Lawyers Association (TLA), led the 50th Annual Transportation Law Institute on November 10, 2017 in Norfolk, Virginia. The conference was attended by more than 100 current and new members alike, from across the country. Attendees had access to more than seven hours of approved CLE and numerous networking breaks, receptions and dining experiences with new friends and colleagues.

One of the most notable moments of the conference was when attendees showed their generous support of the families impacted by the devastation that has occurred in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria. In response to Frank’s request for members to open their hearts, and their wallets, and donate just $20 to help buy a generator for a family still without power on the island, TLA members rose to the occasion by donating $1,541. The amount was enough to secure generators for not just one, but two families in Puerto Rico. TLA fundraising will continue at future conferences until those in Puerto Rico are back on their feet again.

Registration is now open for the Chicago Regional Seminar, January, 18-19, 2018 at the Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park. The program consists of outstanding CLE sessions and networking opportunities. Register here. There is a scheduled “Labor and Employment Boot Camp” available for members on January 18, 2018.

The TLA celebrates its 80th Anniversary this year. The 2018 Annual Conference will take place May 2-5, 2018 at Waldorf Astoria Orlando. For more information on the Transportation Lawyers Association visit the website.
