Lisa R. Whisler is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group with more than 12 years of experience supporting her clients.
Prior to joining The Lynch Law Group, Lisa worked as Senior Associate at a national firm in their Commercial Litigation Group where she practiced in federal and state court commercial civil litigation. She earned her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where she served as the Executive Editor of the Law Review. She earned her Bachelors of Science from Allegheny College where she graduated Cum Laude.
As a member of the Pennsylvania and West Virginia Bar, Lisa has extensive history representing clients needing assistance with breach of contract actions, personal injury and asbestos defense, employment litigation and more.
Lisa believes that forming good relationships is crucial to the practice of law, not only with her clients but with other attorneys. “While I will not hesitate to fight for my clients, I believe that sometimes disputes can be solved by a simple phone call to the other side, saving my clients both time and money.”
In addition to her experience as a litigator, she is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Co-Chair of the Civil Litigation Committee for the Pennsylvania Defense Institute, one of Best Lawyers’ One to Watch of 2022, and Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Outside of her work at the Lynch Law Group, Lisa is a member of the Junior Advisory Counsel for the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh. In her free time she volunteers at the shelter, and enjoys spending time with her own cats and dogs. She also enjoys baking and decorating cakes and cookies.
