Drew Durbin is an Associate Attorney in the Estates & Trusts and Elder Law Practice Groups at The Lynch Law Group. He is a tax and estate planning attorney who brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to helping individuals, families, and business owners navigate complex legal and financial decisions. Drew’s practice focuses on the intersection of tax, estate, and corporate law, with a particular emphasis on trust and estate planning strategies and related tax implications.
Known for his people-first approach, Drew is especially skilled at making intricate tax and legal concepts accessible. Whether guiding clients through business succession planning or securing tax clearance during estate administration, he maintains a clear focus: delivering practical solutions with care and clarity. He understands that his clients are in uncharted territory, and his approach is to proactively anticipate their needs and lead with empathy. Drew earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he completed a Certificate in Tax Law and served as Managing Editor of the Pittsburgh Tax Review. He is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University, further deepening his expertise in trusts, estates, and tax law.
He holds a B.A. from Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he triple-majored in Philosophy, English Literature, and Theology. These disciplines instilled in him a lifelong commitment to rigorous thinking, moral clarity, and an appreciation for the human side of every legal issue.
Outside of work, Drew is a devoted family man. He and his wife have a full house with three young children and a German Shepherd. They enjoy hiking and camping, and Drew is a lifelong reader. George Eliot’s Middlemarch is a book he recommends to everyone as a profound study in the richness of human experience.
