He also works closely with clients to review, develop, and implement corporate governance procedures, compliance programs, and risk management processes.
Brandon’s broad background enables him to provide comprehensive advice to clients facing significant challenges or seeking to undertake proactive measures. His experience includes defending high-profile clients and representing litigants when the stakes and risks affect the foundation of clients’ businesses and livelihoods. Some examples of his representative matters include the largest criminal tax prosecution in the history of the Western District of Pennsylvania, statewide investigating grand juries, and media-intense prosecutions. He represents clients in high value litigation, including class actions, multidistrict litigation, and multiparty disputes, as well as in matters brought by governmental authorities, including the Justice Department, SEC, IRS, PCAOB, the State Attorney General’s Office, and State Licensing Boards. Brandon also counsels clients in their development of programs and best-practices to mitigate risk.
Brandon focuses on providing clear and concise advice to his clients, and he thrives in high pressure situations, including when immediate judicial intervention is the only practical option. He successfully leads clients through all stages of litigation, from pretrial procedures through trials and appeals, and he utilizes his experience and expertise in assisting clients with regard to related proceedings such as handling subpoenas, civil investigative demands, and notices.
Brandon is also a Certified Public Account (CPA).
Outside of work, Brandon enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and attempting to develop his household carpentry skills.
