Lauren Mathews is an Associate attorney and member of the Litigation, Labor and Employment, Real Estate and Transportation Practice Groups. Lauren authors motions, briefs and appeals in state and federal court. She also assists clients in drafting complex legal documents, such as employment agreements and other commercial and corporate documents. Lauren’s practice involves a variety of corporate matters, including contract disputes and employment-related litigation matters.
Prior to joining The Lynch Law Group, Lauren served as a law clerk for the Honorable Damon J. Faldowski, Washington County Court of Common Pleas, where she assisted in reviewing files, conducting research and drafting orders, opinions and memoranda, as well as managing cases on the civil docket.
Lauren earned her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law 2016. During law school, Lauren interned with the Pro Bono Center of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation and worked as a certified legal intern for two school-sponsored clinical programs. Lauren completed over 120 hours of pro bono legal work during her second and third years of law school, which led her to receive the Pro Bono Exemplary Service Certificate upon her graduation. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy, Political Science and Psychology from Washington and Jefferson College in 2013.
Lauren is an active member of the Washington County Bar Association, where she serves as President-Elect for the Young Lawyers Division. She is also active in the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
