Delia Bouwers Bianchin joins The Lynch Law Group with almost two decades of high level experience practicing law. For the first half of her career, she focused in complex commercial litigation at two large prominent law firms in Pittsburgh and the second half as in-house counsel for a diversified contract manufacturing company and for a dynamic start-up.
In her first ten years of practice, Delia practiced complex commercial litigation at the both K&L Gates (formerly Kirkpatrick & Lockhart LLP) and Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott LLC. She concentrated in the area of general commercial litigation and garnered experience in a wide range of litigation-related matters in various federal and state courts across the country, including various complex commercial and employment-related litigation matters.
She then joined Penn United Technologies, Inc. and for ten years, held the position of General Counsel for the diversified, international precision tool and die manufacturing company based in Cabot, Pennsylvania. As General Counsel, Delia assisted with commercial contract negotiations, human resource and employment related matters, retirement plan design and compliance issues, intellectual property development, and a wide range of corporate compliance and litigation matters germane to the manufacturing environment.
Delia implemented several programs and systems during her tenure as General Counsel at Penn United, including, by way of example, a contract review and management system, as well as a comprehensive export control compliance program to support defense related work. She worked closely with all operations teams, providing oversight, training and assistance for the review of all contracts and terms and conditions for both corporate customers and vendors.
Prior to joining The Lynch Law Group, Delia also served as Corporate Counsel for Cabot Gun Company, LLC, a designer and manufacturer of luxury 1911-style pistols.
In her work as in-house counsel, she has enjoyed providing advice and guidance and contributing her expertise in the context of major corporate initiatives, including ongoing operations and potential acquisitions and growth.
Having worked in a corporate environment, she appreciates the criticality of incorporating the goals and objectives of the management team, and working closely with the team in implementation at a pace that suits the organization and better ensures success.
Delia graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1997, where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law and Commerce and the Research Editor for the University of Pittsburgh Law Review, as well as president of her Christian Legal Society student chapter. She received her B.A. in English from Calvin College in 1990.
