The Lynch Law Group and Simpson & McCrady Host Active Shooter Seminar

Attorney Frank Botta was joined by a distinguished panel of professionals on June 19, 2019 at Range Resources in Southpointe for a seminar focused on addressing violence in the workplace. Representatives from more than 20 local companies were in attendance for the two-hour event, which provided a perspective from government, legal and insurance representatives who assist in planning for, reacting to, and recovering from active shooter and workplace violence incidents.

Joining Mr. Botta in presenting information were: Bob Winters, Department of Homeland Security, Protective Security Advisor; Paul Marshall, McGowan Program Administrators, Managing Director Active Shooter – Workplace Violence. John Rudolf, Simpson and McCrady, Insurance Specialist, was the moderator for the event and Jeff Yates, Director of Public Safety at Washington County was on hand to welcome the team and stress the importance for companies to engage in advance planning for a multitude of situations that could occur within the workplace.
