Krista M. Kochosky Named Equity Partner

Partner and Chair of the Real Estate and Litigation Practice Groups, Krista M. Kochosky has been named the newest equity partner, effective immediately. Attorney Kochosky will continue as Chair of the firm’s two biggest Practice Groups while taking a more direct role in the management of the firm itself.

Frank C. Botta Attends the Annual Transportation Lawyers Association Conference

Partner and Chair of the Transportation and Labor and Employment Practice Groups Frank C. Botta attends the Annual TLA Conference from May 1-4, 2024, at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico Golf & Beach Resort.

With over 30 years of experience and previous roles such as the General Counsel for Samuels and Son Seafood Co., Frank brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this year’s conference. As a former president and current Executive Board member of the TLA, his participation is highly anticipated. He will engage in panel discussions and seminars focused on the latest legal developments and trends in transportation law.

Frank noted, “Transportation law is a significant yet often overlooked practice. The TLA Annual Conference is a vital platform for professionals in the field to share insights and foster advancements in our industry.”

Daniel P. Lynch Gives Honors Convocation Speech

Managing Partner Daniel P. Lynch was honored to deliver the Honors Convocation Speech at Saint Vincent College on April 24, 2024. Saint Vincent College is Attorney Lynch’s alma mater and he was honored to be able to share some wisdom with the students.

Saint Vincent College was a transformative experience and it laid the foundation for his future success in law school and beyond.

LLG Recognized as Community Champions by PNRC

Karen Baumgartner and the firm as a whole were recognized as Community Champions by the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber of Commerce. Partners Charles Hadad and Liberty Weyandt celebrated along with Attorney Kathleen Kuznicki, who is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Chamber.

FedEx Fighting Contractor Lawsuit Over ‘Abusive’ Tactics

Partner and Chair of the Transportation Practice Group Frank Botta was recently interviewed after a former delivery contractor for FedEx Ground filed a lawsuit claiming unfair treatment and “abusive” and “deceptive” business practices that violate U.S. anti-racketeering law.
