Patent Protection and Trademark Registration Help Pittsburgh’s Food Startups Succeed

Food startups get help with patent protection and trademark registrationKathleen Kuznicki will speak to business owners and entrepreneurs about the importance of developing a comprehensive strategy for patent protection and trademark registration, at a workshop for Pittsburgh’s food startups, on Saturday, May 21st, in Sharpsburg.

The workshop, called Getting Your Product Retail Ready, hosted by La Dorita Cooks in partnership with Urban Innovation21, is the second workshop in a series of three designed to assist current business owners and entrepreneurs who are interested in starting a food business.

During the workshop, up to five companies will be awarded one year of incubation coaching services and kitchen time. More than $70,000 in services will be awarded. For information or to register for the workshop contact La Dorita Cooks.
